TEGnology Wins Nordic Startup Challenge 2025!

Yesterday, ten standout startups from across the Nordics gathered at the Handelskammer Hamburg to pitch solutions under the theme ‘Circular Economy & New Materials’.

We are happy to report that TEGnology took home the top prize! We are grateful for the chance to have participated in this challenge alongside other outstanding startups and look forward to using this win to further our efforts to advance energy efficiency in smart manufacturing.

District heating is growing rapidly across Europe, especially in Germany, as part of the ongoing transition to more sustainable energy solutions. To achieve the most efficient operation of district heating investments, it is important not only to expand the district heating systems but also to digitize them.
The entire infrastructure in the district heating industry is located underground, and it is costly and potentially dangerous to locate and repair any faults.

We can together with our partner Wioniq Nordic offer a system that can monitor, control, and optimize operations in real-time. This helps ensure that systems operate more efficiently, that any issues such as leaks or faults are detected early, and that maintenance can be better planned.

As district heating systems expand, digitization becomes essential for these systems to handle increased demand. In future cities, digitized management of district heating will be crucial to maintaining cost-effective operation and sustainability.
