September 2022

We won prices, we met important and interesting people, and one of us set an amazing record. In other words, September was a fruitful month worth noticing for TEGnology.

Once again, we promoted our technology at various events. Our commercial breakthrough is coming closer every day, and we truly appreciate the support from all of you. Please follow us on LinkedIn to help us gain a larger audience.

Strategic partnerships formed at DeepTech Alliance

We had two fabulous days in Paris to kick-off the industry 4.0 program organized by DeepTech Alliance. The program is a platform for developing business opportunities and building strategic partnerships between startups and international corporates.

Along with other 18 fellow European hi-tech startups, we were privileged to explore business opportunities within existing and new markets and form strategic partnerships with corporations from all over the world.

The program runs to November, and more exciting activities are expected. Read more about it here.

We are grateful for Deep Tech Alliance’s industry 4.0 and its members:
Hello Tomorrow, Futurebox, Kongsberg Innovasjon, UnternehmerTUM, XPRENEURS Incubator, ETH Entrepreneurship, PoliHub – Innovation Park & Startup Accelerator, Technion DRIVE Accelerator, THINGS AB, and The Collider, for having us and organizing this amazing event.

Winner at the Nordic Innovation Fair 2022

We were thrilled to be entitled winner of this year’s Nordic Innovation Fair.
Our subsidiary company TEGmat received the award within the Greentech category alongside Healthy.world and TriptoBIO.

The Nordic Innovation Fair took place at the Confederation of Danish Industry on 26-27 September, where we presented our fantastic journey on “making industrial-scale thermal energy harvesting profitable” in front of an international investor panel and more than 400 guests.

We would like to thank Aalborg University, Aarhus University, Central Denmark Region, North Denmark Region, Region of Southern Denmark, Technical University of Denmark, University of Copenhagen, and the University of Southern Denmark for organizing this wonderful event and the Novo Nordisk Foundation for supporting it

Accelerating green transition within district heating

As our technology can produce power for IoT devices from difference in temperature, district heating is an obvious use case. If you participate in the annual meeting of the Danish District Heating Association (Dansk Fjernvarme), you can experience the benefits yourself.

TEGnology will participate as an exhibitor at “Dansk Fjernvarme
Landsmøde (LM2022)” at Tivoli Hotel & Congress Center on the 27-28 of October. The theme of this year’s meeting will be acceleration of the green transition in Denmark.

Attendees will meet, talk and network with fellows across the energy sectors about the needs and possibilities in the green transition.

The meeting will welcome more than 2.000 participants from all over the country. Ministers, politicians, leading business entities, energy experts and many others are expected to participate.

We look forward to meeting you there!

Finalist in international startup competition

We are proud to be promoted to the “Start.up! Germany” finals in Düsseldorf.

As part of the Start.up! Germany Tour, we will be brought together with 15 other international startups and present our unique technology in front of various companies, investors, and multipliers globally. This action is part of our globalization plan. We were selected among 37 participants from 37 countries, and we are very excited to be a finalist.

We will be participating in the first pitch round on Wednesday the 26 of October between 17:30-18:30. You can find the detailed program and watch a live stream of the event here.

Our special thanks go to the German-Danish Chamber of Commerce and Anne Katharina Rasmussen, who kindly invited us to participate in this competition, as well as arranging a brief meeting with the German ambassador Pascal Hector during our attendance in TechBBQ.

Rafael broke the record

Rafael Jeppesen: : “I kept my pace all the way and finished strongly within the last 3 km. My overall ranking was 2.255 out of 45.000 runners who have entered.
I am grateful for TEGnology’s generous sponsorship for the race, which has been an absolutely fantastic experience!!”

A new world record was set in the Berlin Marathon in September. But it was also a day for breaking personal records.

The entire TEGnology team burst into cheers, when we received the news that our colleague, Rafael Jeppesen, had accomplished a full marathon at Berlin Marathon 2022 with a new personal record of 3:00:21. A true Berlin legend!
