Join Our Team as a Senior Key Account Manager!

Are you a results-driven sales professional with a strong passion for acquiring new clients and driving growth? TEGnology is looking for a Senior Key Account Manager with a talent for business development to help expand our customer base and lead our sales efforts. Based in Søborg, just north of Copenhagen, we are a fast-growing deep-tech company collaborating with industry leaders in sectors such as district heating, machine manufacturing, and the pharma industry.

Our mission is to optimize energy efficiency through thermal energy harvesting, simplify industrial sensor solutions, empower IIoT capabilities, and create new business opportunities. TEGnology provides cost-effective, maintenance-free power by converting heat into electricity, offering innovative solutions for a wide range of applications.

Your Role:
As the Senior Key Account Manager, you will focus on driving new sales and expanding our client base. You will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and converting leads into long-term clients, ensuring that our solutions are aligned with customer needs and building a strong foundation for future growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead new sales efforts by identifying and prospecting potential customers in key industries.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new clients and expand TEGnology’s market presence.
  • Build and manage relationships with new prospects, guiding them through the sales process from initial contact to closing.
  • Work closely with the product and development teams to understand customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Prepare and present customized proposals, negotiating terms, and closing deals.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle for new accounts, ensuring a seamless transition from prospect to customer.
  • Develop a strong sales pipeline and forecast new business opportunities.

Your Preferred Profile:
To excel in this role, you should have:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably within IoT component sales.
  • Experience within manufacturing industry and district heating is a plus.
  • A proven track record of acquiring new customers and driving new business growth.
  • Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • A client-focused approach with excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • A degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Experience in Central Europe or the Nordics is preferred.
