SensEver Alfa Working Prototype

Dreams do come true! TEGnology assembled the first batch of SensEver Alfa – a universal power supply unit for IoT devices. Everything works as expected. The picture shows how SensEver Alfa can provide constant power supply for wireless Temperature/Pressure sensors with a Bluetooth connection, solely by harvesting thermal energy from a pipeline. We will deliver them to our first field testers asap.

 


Along with about 50 other robust entrepreneurs from Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Denmark, TEGnology was selected to present at the 19th event of Tech Tour Nordic – and with honor was awarded “Highest Rated Company” at Tech Tour Nordic 2021!

It was a great event with lots of inspiration and networking. Offering the concept of “Rethink Power Supply”, we met with possible investors and had productive discussions about alternative power supply to the 25 billion IoT (Internet of Things) devices which are scheduled to be online by 2025.

“You are all proof that the Nordic start-up scene is coming out from the Corona crisis, stronger than ever and working more closely with one another. There are no challenges that we together cannot overcome,” said Petri Laine, President of the Tech Tour Nordic 2021, in his speech.

Organized by the European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT), InnoEnergy is an international networking event focusing on global sustainable energy technologies. We met new and old friends and colleagues, as well as potential business partners and industrial leaders. The highlight was our meeting with Swedish solar hybrid company SAMSTER represented by Kent Samuelsson, CEO. SAMSTER combines solar cells (PV) and heat pumps in an innovative way to provide a holistic solution for power and heat supply in buildings. We believe that we can help increase system efficient even further.
 
Strategic Partnership with Hansong Group
We are proud to announce that we have formed a strategic partnership with Hansong Group. Founded in 1998 in China, Hansong is a Danish-owned manufacturer of high performance, premium audio equipment and a leading OEM and ODM (Original Equipment/Design Manufacture) in consumer and commercial electronics. By collaborating with Hansong, TEGnology will not only expand its capability in design and manufacture, also it will also open avenues for increased sales in Asian markets. The relationship originated via the China-Denmark Innovation House, supported Copenhagen Capacity and Virkon, whom we want to acknowledge for their effort in establishing contact between our two companies.
 

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
Christmas is at our doorstep, and this is TEGnology’s last newsletter of the year. We expect to send out our next newsletter in late January 2022.

Despite the extremely disruptive Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021, which we will likely have to live with in the coming years, things are gradually restarting and regaining momentum. We have participated 30+ online and physical events (including DTU GreenUp, InvestHorizon and EUREKA Acceleration), doubled the number of members of our team, developed a new product and generated revenue from sales, as described in our previous newsletters.
